LUBBOCK, TX – On Saturday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m. in The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts & Sciences, the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, led by Music Director David Cho, will be joined by Isabel Marie Sánchez – presented by Amigos. The performance will feature iconic hits including “Dreaming of You,” Como la Flor,” “No Me Queda Más,” “I Could Fall in Love,” and an encore performance of “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.” Isabel is the 2016 recipient of the Tejano Music Award for Best New Female Artist.

“Texas has a rich musical history and Selena is certainly among the greatest artists to ever hail from the state,” said Lubbock Symphony Orchestra President & CEO Galen Wixson.  “It’s only fitting that we honor the Queen of Tejano Music’s legacy and do so with another great Texan, Isabel Marie Sánchez, who I know audiences will love.”

Before the Dreaming of You Tribute to Selena, the Lubbock Symphony will feature a special pre-show performance by local musical group, Mariachi Azteca, on the Market Street stage in the lobby of the Buddy Holly Hall. Guests are encouraged to arrive early at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the lively atmosphere before the main event begins.

Tickets start at $25 and are on sale at lubbocksymphony.org or by calling 806-762-1688.
